Children’s Medicare
Seaford Dental Clinic has teamed up with Medicate to provide treatment to children aged 2-7 years old.
Children that are covered by the Child Dental Benefits schedule can access $1000 of dental treatment that is covered by the Australian Government.
Dental services that the government will provide for you child include :
- Examinations
- X–rays
- Cleaning
- Fissure sealants
- Fillings
- Root canal treatments
- Extractions
The government will not cover the following treatment :
- Orthodontic dental work
- Cosmetic dental work
- Any services that you need to have in a hospital
How do I know if I’m eligible?
* You have a child aged between 2 to 17 years old
* Your child is enrolled in Medicare
* You get certain payments from the government for at least part of the calendar year
